No. BhavTrack is a contact layer, not a transaction layer. You compare rates, judge trust, and reach the seller — the deal happens off-platform. No transaction, escrow or payment gateway exists in the app.
There is no free official MCX feed. The Reference Rate comes from a free spot-price API converted to INR, so it is a spot-equivalent, not the literal exchange settlement price. We label it honestly to protect your trust.
Every click of a Call or WhatsApp button counts as one contact. Jewelers get 3 free contacts per day, resetting at midnight. Beyond that, a paywall offers purchase via PhonePe / any UPI app or a QR code — activated only after admin manually approves. In-app chat is separate and unlimited.
The verified badge requires manual admin review of your documents — Aadhar, PAN or an electricity bill for address proof, and GST if you have one. The verification queue is in the admin panel.
Jewelers/retailers get a 1-month free trial on signup, which includes their storefront. Sellers have no trial — Free or Premium from day one.
A seller operating in more than one city needs a separate account per city — and even two branches in the same city need two separate seller accounts. Each account gets its own bhav, reviews and analytics.
Any jeweler based in the same city as a seller can leave a rating and review. A profanity filter masks abusive words automatically, sellers can request admin review-removal, and every review has a "Report to admin" action.
Yes — every jeweler gets a public storefront at /store/{slug} on signup, showing the Reference Rate and your own bhav together. Custom domains, premium templates and chain branches are add-ons.
The default language is auto-selected by detected location — Hindi for North India, English for South India — and you can always pick your preference. Full Indian-language support is on the roadmap.
